Four Roses Single Barrel: Barrel Strength OBSF (Gordon’s Pick, Boston, MA)

Every now and then you stumble across a store pick that makes you wonder how that barrel wasn’t, for lack of a better phrase, “cherry-picked” before the store got its hands on it. That is exactly the case with the complete 🍒- 💣 @fourrosesbourbon Barrel Strength Single Barrel from @thewhiskyguys and @gordonsdtx! OBSF Mashbill, Aged 9yr5mos. Read below for tasting notes ⤵️

👃: Cherry bomb, Vanilla, Dark baking spice, Nutmeg, Burnt Caramel, Brown sugar, Harvest corn

👅: Maraschino Cherry, Cinnamon, Creme brûlée, Oak, Great mouthfeel, Full bodied

🏁: Long, Warm, Spicy, Graham cracker crust, Oak

For as much as this pick just blasts cherry in your face, it actually may very well be the most well-rounded and balanced 4R BS pick I’ve tasted!

If you’re in the Boston area anytime soon, don’t pass this up!
