Just picked up this 13yr (Yes, 13!, I know the bottle says 10....it’s 13) @whistlepigwhiskey single barrel pick from @thewhiskyguys that I ordered a while back! Read below for tasting notes of this @albertadistillers gem! ⤵️ 🥃🍾
👃: Mellow rye spice, dark baking spices/anise, cinnamon.
👅: Cinnamon, baking spice, peanuts, almonds, vanilla, apple, oak, very well-rounded
🏁: Long finish, pleasant, cinnamon, nutty, oak.
Gotta give it to Ken Gordon and his crew at @gordonsdtx for an absolutely wonderful pick!
Got word that they’ve got a ton of private barrel picks coming in over the next few months. I’m sure they will all be worth checking out!
